Why is the lake clear in my glass of water?

i have a lake in my town and that is where we get our drinking water. when i visit the lake it is a very pretty blue color %26lt;3 :D





but thennn,


when i take my pill in the morning and i have a glass of water with it.


MY WATER IS CLEAR! NOT BLUE!





what is up with this i am wondering why this is
