Ask family and friends to save them up for you. If you are going to use them to make your own wine, any bottle that had a cork will do. You can also buy them from u-brew places.Where can I find empty clear glass wine bottles???
typically white wines come in either brown or clear bottles. Alot of chardonnay and reisling bottles are tan and a lot of pinot gris and pinot grigio bottles are clear. You can find full ones at liquor stores and grocery stores but the only place you can find empty ones are at recycling centers and you have to find people that brought them and havent recycled them yet (they are crushed and broken up when recycled). I have also seen them next to people's trashcans but i would never go digging through people's trash...gross and illegal.Where can I find empty clear glass wine bottles???

Have you tried your local craft store? We have a place here called Garden Ridge Pottery and I saw some empty, clear wine bottles there last week.
Here in Crystal palace in London people leave lots of empty bottles in crates outside the bottle bank .. take many as you like
You can find something similar at Pier One, Pottery Barn, Williams-Sonoma, BB%26amp;B, LNT, Marshall's, TJ Maxx, and even Goodwill or thrift stores.
Either that, or ask your local bartender to save you a few. Shouldn't take long.
Next to the dumpsters where some of the homeless sleep?
You might need to buy a full bottle at the store, and get somebody to drink it before it is empty.
Just joking--check it out on the web.
Wine bottles are colored to protect the wine from the effects of light and heat, so it may be hard to find a clear one.
If it must be a wine bottle, maybe the ones that are covered in plastic, or vinyl might be clear glass. Or sometimes the cheap, refrigerated, sweet stuff is in a clear bottle.
cheap wine comes in clear glass bottles like red rose
Try a bar or a restaurant, they just throw them out.
World market but look for the bottles used to make those pretty oil and pepper bottles
A true ';wine'; bottle will never be clear. Sunlight does weird things to wine, so they color the bottles to keep some of the light out (like sunglasses). I would suggest a store like Pier 1 Imports or Williams Sonoma.
If you want the El-Cheapo route...try a Flea Market. If you want to spend a few dollars, a kitchen gadget store will have them...
at the free market
I have a couple of resturants save their bottles for me. A recycleing center is a great place to get them too.
Have you tried asking your neighnours?
