I want to glue metal to glass like that used in furniture which is a clear super strong bond, what glue is it?

Is it UV activated glue which is what I found on the net? In furniture stores I've seen items made of glass pieces and metal and glass pieces, all bonded together, with a clear bond, but very strong, what kind of glue is that? Thank-you.I want to glue metal to glass like that used in furniture which is a clear super strong bond, what glue is it?
If you are talking about glass to glass and a very tightly matched surface, then the thin glues that UV cure are doing what they are designed for. Most hardware stores should have small tubes in their glue section. UV comes from sun or rather costly high power UV lamps. If you want to glue glass to metal, because of different rates of expansion, you want a stiff silicone adhesive. E6000 is designed for arts use and flows while the Goop products from the same company flow less. I have used some stuff called Devcon 2 ton epoxy(clear) easy to use and dry's clear .
You can use clear silicone sealant, Thats what is used to bond fish tanks
it's the same stuff used to glue the rear view mirror to your windshield.
J-B Weld is good.
