Is the computer system setup, as seen on CSI Miami, real? With the clear see-thru glass monitors?

I've been looking for the best setup I can find and am curious if something like this one exists. It almost seems like it may be possible since the touch screen from microsoft (I think it's called Surface) is available.Is the computer system setup, as seen on CSI Miami, real? That's Microsoft's Dream Screen, still in development, but more than just a fantasy. Surface will be the first step. There's a nice writeup at:

Yes, they exist, but I don't think they made it past the prototype stage.
