How do you make frosted glass clear?

I have a glass table top that I want to make clear. How do I do this?How do you make frosted glass clear?
Assuming it was etched or sandblasted, take the glass off and go to a glass and mirror table place and have them make a new one with clear glass. While it is possible to get it polished clear, the cost in labor would be far more than just getting a new piece. Store the old one in case you change your mind.How do you make frosted glass clear?
If the etching is done with acid than I don't think you can make it clear. Some frosting is just sprayed on, and if so you will need to use a scraper and lots of elbow grease to remove it leaving the original shiny surface when done. If it is sprayed on, you will find it flakes off quite easily, if it is acid etched it won't budge.
If the frost is etched, the glass would have to be repolished - not an easy DIY job.
