Crafts got any cute ideas how to decorate clear glass salt and pepper Shakers?

acrylic paint (most a re labelled as okay for glass) and when dry a couple of coats of clearcoat (lacquer)

a mosaic of ribbons or tissue paper pasted on with a glue that dries clear, then the lacquer coats

PS: Just asked my sister and she suggested something that sounded interesting - sea salt or kosher salt layered onto glue (it looks kind of like snow crystals) then covered in lacquer. The pepper one we couldn't think of anything except perhaps whole peppercorns (different colors)Crafts got any cute ideas how to decorate clear glass salt and pepper Shakers?
Got to craft shops like Michaels.

They have all kinds of glass paints.

Or you can use foam shapes to make creatures.

You'll need crazy (CA) glue to stick together.

You can also put coloured beads inside.Crafts got any cute ideas how to decorate clear glass salt and pepper Shakers?
I recommend a product called Pebeo Porcelaine. After it is painted onto the shakers, and baked in an oven for 30 minutes at 300 degrees F it becomes dishwasher safe. This product is okay to use with children.

It is found at Michaels and other craft stores. However, I find the prices are better at Dick Blick than Michaels (at least in my hometown).

Decoupage. Try to find mini stickers or pictures from wrapping paper, napkins, etc. Apply them with Mod Podge which is available at almost any craft store.
